In this podcast, we addressed the area of long-term care and the challenges it brings. We did not even avoid the proposal of the Long-Term Care Act, which is starting its journey in the National Assembly this week. Among other things, we also talked about how the social dialogue between representatives of employers and employees takes place, we touched on the issue of financing long-term care and its implementation in the light of the labor shortage, and in this context also the relationship between formal and informal care foreseen in the bill.
The guests of this podcast were Lidija Jerkič, president of the Association of Free Trade Unions of Slovenia, and Miro Smrekar, general secretary of the Association of Employers of Slovenia, and the podcast was moderated by dr. Anja Kopač, professional director of the 1. May Institute.
