“WHO ARE YOUNG PEOPLE AND HOW TO INVOLVE THEM IN DECISION-MAKING PROCESSES?”

As always, the local activator is prepared in cooperation with the partner foundation Friederich Ebert.

This time, the director of the May 1st Institute, Jan Škoberne, gave a lecture to the participants at the local activator, who touched on the field of young people, their challenges, lifestyle, habits, and other characteristics, and compared it to the habits of young people 10 years ago. He also spoke about ways to involve young people in decision-making processes and to understand their way of thinking and acting.

In the second part of the program, the participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with and learn about approaches to public speaking, the most suitable ways of communicating via online media, which is a particularly desirable skill in today’s world. They also learned how to take care of relations with journalists.

We believe that the participants left the local activator with renewed knowledge, and we are already preparing new dates for the local activator in the autumn and winter period.
