WHAT POSSIBILITIES DOES THE EUROPEAN COHESION POLICY OFFER IN SOLVING THE CHALLENGES AND NEEDS OF THE ELDERLY?

The participants of the event were greeted in the introduction by the Minister for Cohesion, Dr. Aleksander Jevšek, who emphasized that the ministry not only co-finances bicycle paths, water pipes and sewers, but also programs that are close to people and expressed his satisfaction that they will allocate funds for this in the 2021-2027 financial perspective. Dr. Luka Omladič, State Secretary at the Ministry for a Solidarity Future, Stanko Kranvogel, Vice-President of the Association of Pensioners of Slovenia (ZDUS), Francka Ćetković, President of the Union of Pensioners of Slovenia, mag. Barbara Žgajner, director of the Home Help Center and Zoran Hoblaj, vice-president of the Assembly of the Community of Social Welfare Institutions of Slovenia. The discussion was led by the State Secretary at the Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development, M.Sc. Marko Koprivc.

The expert consultation took place in the Cukrarna gallery in Ljubljana.
