The winter part of the program this time focuses on broader aspects of social solidarity.
We invite you to join us on January 30, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the training and round table entitled “Myths and truths of long-term care”, which will take place in the meeting hall of the Municipality of Nova Gorica (Trg Edvarda Kardelja 1).
At the round table, together with the interlocutors, we will talk about the challenges of implementing long-term care in light of the lack of personnel and increased needs in the future. We will touch on the relationship between formal/informal care, the responsibility of the state and local communities, possible alternative forms of care for the elderly, and the key challenges faced by providers and other providers of long-term care services.
The round table will be connected by dr. Anja Kopač, professional director of the 1.maj Institute, who will also give a professional introduction to the topic of long-term care.
